My Story

JV Girls Basketball Coach – Prospect Mountain High School
High School Educator & Founder of Pittsfield Hoops 603

Coach Darien Stratton is a dynamic and accomplished basketball coach with extensive experience across AAU, travel, recreational, and middle school programs. She is also the Founder and Director of Pittsfield Hoops 603, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality basketball clinics and summer camps for youth athletes.

Darien has led and developed players at every level, from the Farmington Tigers to Cap City AAU, and most recently as Head Coach for Pittsfield Middle School Girls Basketball. Her coaching style emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork, mental toughness, and game intelligence, while fostering an inclusive and positive environment. In 2023, her 3rd–4th grade team earned the Sportsmanship Award at the Deerfield Tournament, a testament to her commitment to developing both character and skill.

This year, she begins her first season as the JV Girls Basketball Coach at Prospect Mountain High School, where she will continue to instill discipline, growth, and confidence in her players.

Off the court, Darien is a high school teacher, bringing the same passion for leadership, teamwork, and preparation to the classroom.

We’re excited to welcome Coach Stratton to REPS Basketball this fall, where she will serve as our Middle School Coach—with plans to expand her role this spring into coaching some of our college exposure teams.
